Painted bamboo blinds are unique decorations for both interior and exterior of the Forbidden City of Vietnam. These items could be easily recognised hung along the palace corridors in several old photographs taken in the past century. The dragon blinds not only offer weatherproofness and privacy, but also stand for one of the most delicate products by the imperial artisans. BARO proudly presents the Converse “Dragon Blinds” with patterns extracted and modified from a combination of reconstructed blinds and artefacts left in the Palace of Huế: five-colour dragon on burgundy background, paired with customised silver laces.
